vSAN 7.0 with vCenter/ESXi 6.7

Good Day Community, I am seeking some clarification regarding deploying vSAN. The current infrastructure has vCenter/ESXi 6.7. New servers (Dell R740xd) will be used to implement vSAN. Currently another device is providing storage.

Question - Can vSAN 7.0 work with vCenter/ESXi 6.7 or will they need to be all upgraded to 7.0?

I think I read on the vSAN 7.0 requirements that vCenter will need to be 7.0 but was not sure.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

@mredwarren vCenter need to be updated to the same or higher version e.g. if the ESXi hosts are going to 7.0 U3 then the vCenter needs to be vCenter 7.0 U3 as well, managing ESXi 7.0 U3 hosts with a vCenter 6.7 will result in lots of issues including but not limited to many of the vSAN-Health based UI panes (e.g. Skyline Health, Disk Management, Performance, Configuration) not working properly.
