vSAN 2 Node Stretched Cluster expansion

I have some customers who started with 2-node stretched clusters and need now some more cpu resources. Will i run in problems if i add 2 hosts of the same vendor and type but lower sized? In this cases 1/2 memory, 1 CPU, 1/2 dg's.

If i look at the different scenarios i can not see a obvious problem. If a site failure occurs all workloads can run on the second site. If i take one of the larger hosts in maintenance all workloads can be distributed across the remaining hosts.

We only use PFTT=1

Should be no problem, as long as the hosts are "vmotion compatible", also, you need to make sure that VMs can be restarted when certain hosts fail.
