methods to edit multiple VM's vSAN policy at once?

excuse me

Does anyone know any methods that can change VMs' vSAN policy at once?

I got dozens of VMs in my environment and believe that using mouse to change each VM's disk to another vSAN policy costs too much time.

I discovered this: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2109054 and it seemed reasonable.

And the developer.vmware.com also stated some possible solution as shown below:

any ideas?

@klancy43, Note that you can apply a new storage policy to multiple VMs at once from the 'VMs' tab. There you can select either in a row using Click VM > Shift+Click another VM or using CTRL+Click to select whichever specific VMs you want to apply this to e.g.:

Hi @klancy43

have a read off of this guide PowerCli Cookbook for VMware vSAN   https://core.vmware.com/resource/powercli-cookbook-vsan

look at the chapter "vSAN Storage Policies "

This should give you examples on how to automate policy change
