Whats best way to use cache of the controller in RAID0 for VSAN

Hi Gurus,

I am putting up a VSAN cluster and want to understand what is the best way to use controller cache HP P420i in my case.

I was thinking about putting 100% read for all the SAS disk.

other option is put all 100% Read on SSD.

I cannot find a much useful information  on this on internet, any ideas would be much appreciated.

The only item I could find is

"When utilizing RAID0 mode, the storage controller cache should be disabled—this is configurable on some but not all storage controllers—to ensure that it does not conflict with the cache of the SSD drives controlled by Virtual SAN.When the storage controller cache cannot be completely disabled in a RAID 0 configuration, configure it for 100 percent read cache, effectively disabling the write cache."

So if we put 100% controller cache for SAS disk and leave SSD, shouldn't it improve performance mainly "read" ?

Thanks

Kapil
