WSFC on VSAN 6.2 for in DC & Cluster vmdk shared disk

Good day,

Does anyone know if this process is supported for SQL 2016 on Windows 2012 R2 on ESXi 6 u3 with VSAN 6.2?

5 node cluster with VSAN 6.2 and we would like to create a WSFC for SQL.

Anyone attempted this and is it possible?

I have googles some and it is not as clear as to what is supported.

and how to go about implementing it.

Hello Otto,

Unfortunately, I don't believe that shared-disk WSFC is supported on vSAN, only SQL Server Always On Availability Groups (non-shared disk) are currently supported:
