Dear all Help me please I concern about license for vsan, example: If I buy vsphere, vcenter and vsan license then I deploy vsan withness appliance on esxi host, cause I must configure 2 nodes vsan. Do I need to buy vsphere license for withness?
No. The virtual (ESXi) vSAN Witness Applianace comes with some kind of inbuild license. You dont need to license it and it also doesnt count as a Host when speaking of vCenter Essentias/Foundation.
