VSAN with 2 nodes

Hi all,

I heard about the new functionnality of Vsphere 6.5 for VSAN, speaking about the possibility to create a VSAN with only nodes. But it looks like you can't use this functionnality for your main infrastruture; I mean, it seems to be available only in case of ROBO (remote office) which is connected to the main office (this main office must be a VSAN at least with 3 nodes).

Is anyone able to confirm this information?

Thank you

2 node VSAN is for ROBO only as it still requires a 3rd remote witness appliance VM running on another platform (main office).

All other VSAN implementations require 3 as a minimum (4 recommended for high availability and maintenance operations)
