Hi,
1) For Blade Server solution, as most of the full blade can only support 4 HDDs and assuming the hypervisor is SAN Booted with the HDDs split to 1 x SSD + 3 x SAS/SATA. Is this a supported Solution ?
2) Do we have any performance information on the Compute Host (with no storage but joined VSAN Cluster) accessing the VSAN data store on a VSAN cluster? Any latency or bandwidth information?
3) Will VCOPS be able to analyze VSAN cluster performance and perform analytic to identify performance issue?
Thanks !!!
Regarding item (1), I cannot see why this would not be supported, although it is probably unusual.
For item (2), I don't believe there are any performance details documented around latency/bandwidth at this time.
For item (3), I did a blog post on VSAN & vC Ops 5.8 interop here - VSAN and vCenter Operations Interop | CormacHogan.com
While the story is not yet complete, I understand further enhancements will be included in later editions of vC Ops.
