VSAN Clusterd ESXI Host stuck while enter Maintenance Mode

put host in maintenance mode in vsan cluster to Check HA failover. Maintenance mode went to 100% and stuck , VMs are not migrated. It is stuck state since last night. I choose ensure accessibility while I put host in maintenance mode. It’s 3node vsan cluster not stretched cluster. Still the maintenance mode of the host is grey out. After 8 hours mintenance mode shows 0% and maintenance grey out.  Please give your valuable solution to solve the issue.

@GKBabu1,

These are primary checks, however important to take a note.

Before a host can enter maintenance mode, all virtual machines need to be powered off or migrated to another host. A common problem is a connected CD-ROM or if the virtual machine is on local storage.

You can also ensure that there is enough flash capacity on the remaining hosts to handle any flash read cache reservations. You should also ensure that there is enough free capacity on the remaining hosts to accommodate the amount of data that must be migrated from the host entering maintenance mode.

Verify the status of the host, run the following command:
esxcli system maintenanceMode get

Also, to check if the host actually gets into maintenance mode. You may temporarily turn off HA and this should allow the host to enter maintenance mode.
