we are trying to run VSAN 6.2 on our blade infrastructure. these are HP blades using flexfabric. with 2x 10Gbit ports per blade we separate all other traffic from VSAN traffic using active/standby adapters.
but the blade chassis are connected with 2x 10gbit uplinks and we run 15 blades per chassis. all flash vsan requires 10gbit ports but with a 30 node blade cluster on 2 chassis, how does that work with just the 2x 10gbit interlinks. these are shared by all networks. is this supported by VMware? or even if, is there a technical reason we may not want to do this? any pointers are greatly appreciated, tnx!
