The number of witness with stripe = 2

By default due create FTT=1 for power.on VM  we have 3 witness :

1- for vmdk

2- for swap

3- for home space

But now I change policy to FTT=1 with stripe=2 

Now I have just two witness 

1- for home space

2- for swap 

Why there is not witness for vmdk ?

The creation, and or placement, of a witness components will depend on how the data is spread across hosts and diskgroups. If the data is spread so that there's no direct need for a witness, then you won't see one created. To be honest, I would not bother trying to understand the algorithm.
