Hello RhofmanZ
Welcome to Communities.
That driver is not certified for vSAN 6.5 (only 6.2) - update it to lsi_msgpt3 14.15.00.00 (and Firmware 13.17.03.05):
https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/detail.php?deviceCategory=vsanio&productid=40063
Unlikely that that is the cause of the spammy cluster-check though.
Try and see if can correlate the times the tasks started with cluster-level events/tasks tabs.
Cluster > Monitor > Tasks & Events
Check in the virgo and vsan-health logs on the vCenter for log messages when the task is starting/running.
( /var/log/vmware/vsphere-client/logs/vsphere_client_virgo.log & /var/log/vmware/vsan-health/vmware-vsan-health-service.log )
Anything other than controller driver showing as warning in the vSAN Health check?
Cluster > Monitor > Health
