SSD and VSAN Datastore Size Maximums

Is there any maximum limit for SSD and VSAN datastore size?

Good link.  I don't know that there are any limits to size specifically, but the limits of other items will come into play.  Max VMs for HA, max hosts for a cluster, max objects per host, etc...  The only thing that I can think of is that with an all flash vSAN, only 600 GB of caching SSD will be used per host, no matter big the SSD is.

Just to clarify, it is 600GB per disk group. It is not a per host maximum. Since you can have 5 disk groups per host, this will give you a total WB cache of 3TB per host.

Comac, is this 600GB limit is same in vsan 6 and vsan 5.5? and what is supported maximum size of vsan datastore?

There is no all-flash configuration in 5.5, so no, it is not applicable to 5.5.

then in diskgroup what is maximum size limitation for the vsan?

I don't believe there is a maximum other than you can have up to 7 disks in a group times however big a disk you can get.  Thank you, Zach.
