Random I/O workload or Sequential I/O workload in VSAN

For which type of workload vsan is good Random I/O workload or Sequential I/O workload?

VSAN works for either, but in my opinion works best with Random IO, but most IO will be random considering you will have many VMs on a single system typically.

what is the default block size here and can it be changed?

Good morning, I guess at the end of the day there are "blocks"; but not at the vSAN file system level.  It's an object store.  Thank you, Zach.

If i am not wrong i read i think somewhere 4KB Block Size.

I can't confirm or deny that, just never seen that info documented before.  I do know that the AFA vSAN does dedupe and compression in 4 kb blocks.  Thank you, Zach.
