My home lab vSAN setup

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to share my Virtual SAN setup in my home lab, might be useful for those looking to deploy something similar in their environments (at home or small business).

It basically consists of Dell C6105 2u 4x Node cluster with 4x Intel DC 3700 SSDs and 8x 300GB 10K SAS drives, all connected through LSI 9260-8i controller.

Hi,

Did you try running 6.0 and above? 9260-8i is supported only in 5.5. does it work with no problems? Is that controller a normal expansion card or rather a motherboard module?
