HCIBench error: Cluster doesn't exist

I'm trying to get HCIBench to run (not on a VSAN cluster but other HCI product...shouldn't matter though?) and am entering my Cluster details but keep getting an error. Have copied and pasted the cluster from vCenter

I don't know what the issue is Julian, but there are some log files on the appliance that might help explain why it is not found.

Check out the troubleshooting section on this post - Getting started with HCIbench, the benchmark for hyper-converged infrastructure - CormacHogan.com - for the location of the log files.

Thanks CHogan

Found the "issue".

If the Cluster is in a subfolder of the data center, the scripts can't seem to see it. If I move the cluster under the root of the data center object it works.

Luckily this is a test cluster so doesn't matter as all manner of permissions are set at the subfolder under the data center level.

Perhaps the coders could query clusters also in subfolders of the data center object in vCenter. !
