Hi All,
Currently using a 3 node vSAN cluster with vSphere essentials plus. Would like to leverage the 4 node feature of the foundation license. Is there an upgrade path that allows this ? If yes, what would be required outside of the additional processor licenses required by the vSAN cluster.
Thanks much.
Havent my SKU list handy but IIRC the one and only upgrade path for an existing Essentials Plus is a Accelerator Kit Std or Enterprise which gives you
- 6x 1 CPU ESXi Std|E+
- 1x vCenter Standard
Than you can buy 2 additional CPU lics of your choice. They drop vSOM Std. so vRealize Operations Manager isnt part of the bundle any more.
The package contains vCenter Std.(unlimited # of Hosts) and not the vCenter Foundation (max. 4 Hosts).
Regards,
Joerg
