Error: ''VSAN is not licensed in this Host'

Hi Everyone!,

Im trying VSAN functionality but i have an error. I have a problem when creating ''disk groups'' in VSAN. I have Vcenter 5.5 which is managing three ESX 5.5 host (1 SSD and 2 HDD), all newly installed with version 60 days. The error it gives is while trying to create Disk Groups saying:  '' VSAN is not licensed in this Host'' , there is the image attached.

You need to have valid vSAN licenses.

Plz refer below questions/ans for more details.

• How do I add a Virtual SAN / VSAN license?
• • VSAN licenses are applied on a cluster level. Open the Webclient click on your VSAN enabled cluster, click the “Manage” tab followed by “Settings”. Under “Configuration” click “Virtual SAN Licensing” and then click “Assign License Key”.
• How will Virtual SAN be priced / licensed?
  • VSAN is licensed per socket, the price is $ 2495 per socket or $ 50,- per VDI user. Note that the license includes the Distributed Switch and VM Storage Policies, even when using a vSphere license lower than Enterprise Plus!

Last question, Please could you tell me where can i get (if possible)  a trial license key to test VSAN? I'm entering the vmware site but cannot locate the option to ''REQUEST'' a temporary trial license for VSAN, since in the version I just installed of Esx and vshpere  5.5, vsan license appears as '' expired'', even though I just install them.

Plz try below options, If you still could not get it, plz let me know. Vsphere 5.5 U1 will have vSAN GA quality features.
