Console connection to a VM getting "Timed out"

My cluster is on one segment and the VM is also connected to the same segment.

I am using a Windows 7 machine on the same cluster to connect to the vCenter Server because I can't do things from a 212 R2 server because of compatibility issues with IE and Firefox and the "filetransfer.exe" app crashes. So I have to use an older machine, Windows 7.

Now, I was able to spin up a Windows 7 VM on the vSAN cluster but when I try to connect to the console of the VM, I get the error message "Connection timed out". It can't be the network because there is only one subnet of 192.168.0.xxx and ALL machines are on that network.

Any ideas?

Where do I start to look?

The Windows 7 VM can resolve the DNS name of your ESXi servers ?
