I am in the process of preparing for a new vSAN deployment. With this deployment a Cisco Nexus 9300 was recommended due to its deep queuing depth. In the past I utilize non Nexus Cisco switching for our data center. We plan on using the Nexus strictly for L2 with our Cisco Firepower handling routing.
With the above, I found some documents detailing VPC setup and trunk setup for the nexus which looked straightforward. I haven't been able to located a document that talks about any special configuration needed on the Nexus to support the queuing depth and any other features it has to offer for the vSAN. Would someone mind point me to or sharing what needs to be looked at or done or a design document that highlights this?
