2 Node SAN - Using vmk0 for WTS - What to do with 2nd NIC on Witness Appliance?

Hi,

I have deploying a 2 node vSAN cluster with 10GB direct connect for vSAN data and WTS implemented using vmk0 for Witness traffic. All 3 hosts are on the same VLAN.

When you deploy the Witness Appliance it deploys with 2 NICs but as I'm using vmk0 for witness (vSAN tagged) on the witness I don't need the 2nd NIC. Am I meant to delete it or just leave it?

If you are not using it then sure it can be removed - you could consider using it as Standby uplink for the other traffic.
