Hello All,
I tried deploying vROPS 6.7 (Small with HA) using LCM and it failed during pre validation phase.
As per the error "number of analytics node is exceeding than whats supported"
On clicking recommendation button, I got the following.
In Small with HA deployment type, LCM automatically selected 4 nodes for deployment.
This error floated in request tab
LCMVROPSYSTEM25036: Error during vROps install validation.
com.vmware.vrealize.lcm.plugin.common.vrops.domain.InstallValidationException: The pre install validation failed for vROps

I faced the same issue in vRA 8.7 deployment using vRLCM and fixd via scaling up the vIDM appliance from small to medium
as below
Procedure
From the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager dashboard, click Manage Environments.
Click View Details for Global Environment or a vRealize Suite product.
Click the ellipsis (...) for the product level operation, and then select Vertical Scale Up.
In the Proceed to Vertical Scale Up pop-up window, click Trigger Inventory Sync.
Click Proceed when the inventory sync is complete.
Select the Node Type, and then click Next.
Under Vertical Scale-Up Details, select Scale Up Size from the drop-down menu. You can select the Additional Disk Size (optional).
Under Advanced Settings, select the appropriate datastore for the nodes from the drop-down menus, and then click Next.
Click RUN PRECHECK.
