Application groups in vRNI can be created in 2 ways -
refer to https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vRealize-Network-Insight/5.3/Using-vRealize-Network-Insight.pdf
1. Manually (refer to steps in page 323 under the section ' Create an Application Manually ')
2. Applications can also be discovered using constructs such as Tags, VM names, CMDBs, Flows (refer to page 325 under the section 'Application Discovery')
