vRA 8.4 error adding Active Directory integration

When I try to add an Active Directory integration, vRA throws and error saying: Failed to validate credentials. Error: ad-integration. Failed to submit sync action.

Any ideas?

I recently ran into this in my lab, and eventually tracked it to this issue:

I solved it by upgrading to vRA 8.4.2, but the KB also includes a script you can run to update the base ABX runner image to fix the problem.
