How to Select Which Datastore a Disk Gets Placed On in vRA 8.6

Hi,

I have a couple of different groups that are using vRA 8 for deploying simple VMs. The groups each have their own blueprint, and the VM files (VMDK etc.) for their deployments get placed on the datastores associated with their project. I have noticed that in the instance where the users go in and add a disk manually after deployment (using the actions dropdown), the resulting disk always winds up on the datastore that is marked as the default for the zone. Does anyone know how to set it up so that disks get placed on the same datastore as the VM they are being added to?

Have you tried either ticking the checkbox to keep the disk with the VM or entering a tag to assign the disk to a tagged datastore, in the Day2 action dialog when selecting Add Disk ?
