vCloud networking. No connection between VM.

Some networking issues, while learning vCloud.

Have two VM (Win7) on a vApp network named LabNet. No ORG VDC network are existing. The machines are both on the same vApp network (LabNet), and  I have added VLAN ID 5 to both of the machines via the VMXNET3 adapter.

Still I cant ping between them. Getting "Destination host is unreachable."

VM1:

192.168.2.105

255.255.255.0

VLAN 5

FW disabled on VM

VM2:

192.168.1.106

255.255.255.0

VLAN 5

FW disabled on VM

Using VCNI.

Any idea where to start?

I did this: VMware KB: Virtual machines lose network connectivity in a vCDNI network pool

No difference and no connectivity between vm1 and vm2.

I run the lab it in a nested environment. Esxi 5.5 (latest build) in Esxi 5.5...

Edit:

I got it to work with a "Direct connection", to my  own private network. But I wanted to have the network isolated from everything. Look at the attached image below; "Ex" works fine. But Why does not "Labbet" work? ( When its connected 😉 )

Edit again:

Been looking at the problem under the weekend. It seems like its the vApp networks that are the problem. I get no connectivity at all between the VMs when using ESXi in ESXi (nested). But for some reason it works just fine in VMware workstation 10.

Anyone else, then me that running ESXi in ESXi that have  these issue?
