vCloud director 1.5 cent os customization fails

Deploying a cent OS 5.6 template continues to fail on guest customization the password is  not getting reset on the image.  On the guest customization tab in vcloud directors ORG portal the following is noted

"Automatic guest customization is not supported on this Guest OS type. The settings on this page will be passed to the Guest OS. You can use custom scripts to configure the Guest OS. Refer to documentation for details."

The same template previously had no issues with the guest customization proccess this is a recent error.

What is the Guest OS type set on the Virtual Machine?  Did you happen to pick "Linux Other" rather than Red Hat 5 or CentOS 5?

vCloud Director's decision process for Guest Customization is based on what OS Type you selected for the VM itself.

Once you have the correct Guest OS Type selected and VMware Tools installed onto the VM's OS, it start working.

The OS is set to 64bit other...  i will set the correct os and give this a try...
