vCloud, can access port 5480, but not 443 for the Director interface.

Running vCloud in a nested environment. Worked fine, for a while. Esxi in Esxi.

I cant connect to the webserver on port 443 to enter the Director interface. But I can access without any problem the administrator interface on port 5480.

It have worked fine before. I have rebooted everything, all the servers, even the main host.

Any vCloud expert who can enlighten me about whats going wrong?

Presuming vCD v1.5 or above then you can use the Cell Management Tool (without having to download it)

  1. Log in to the target cell as root.
  2. Navigate to $VCLOUD_HOME/bin/ (typically /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/bin/).
  3. View the tasks that are running using this command:
    ./cell-management-tool -u username -p password cell -t

This should show you that the cell is up and running.

You could also run

service vmware-vcd status

To see if vcd is running
