vCloud Director v 9.5 impacted by the Adobe Flash End of Life

I have vCloud Director with version 9.5 and currently impacted by the Adobe Flash End of Life.

Want to know is the upgrade to VCD to 10.1 is the only option as mentioned in https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/78589 or do we have any other way around.(If upgrade is the only option, Please guide me with the upgradation step from VCD 9.5 to VCD 10.1)

If you do not plan to upgrade now, you can use this:

  1. Delete flash on your local windows machine https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe
  2. Install flash version 26 http://relizua.com/download/fp/install_flash_player.exe
  3. Use Firefox Portable 23 or Microsoft Edge to get access to cloud portal.

You can also try method from kb https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/78589?lang=en_US

If you do plan to upgrade (and I strongly recommend you to do so), then read this kb article: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-Director/10.0/com.vmware.vcloud.install.doc/GUID-6EC093C1-4C... and this article, that covers upgrade of linux based vcd http://www.nuthouse.us/dlouddirector/2020/09/20/upgrade-vcd95-to-1011.html (Note, upgrade process is dependent on your configuration).
