vCloud Director & one ESX

Hi

I'm installing vCloud Director for testing but I've only one ESX host...

So all components are on one ESX host and so I've the problem to prepare the ESX host for vCloud, because I should put the host into maintence mode.

I installed the agent manually on the host but this don't help.

Is there a solution for me or do I need definitely a second host?

regards

Simon

this will only get you so far, since it's typically combined with VXLAN.  If you do port group based backings for the network pool, you should also be fine for small tests.

However, I wonder why you are just testing vCloud Director now ... given that you can't buy licenses for it unless you are a service provider.
