vCloud Director change IP address of vCenter

Is possible to change IP address of vCenter in environment with vCloud Director 10.2 with NSX-V ? FQDN of vCenter remains. vCenter is registered to vCloud Director by FQDN.

as you are reg'd with FQDN, just use reconnect

after that:

service vmware-vcd stop

/opt/vmware/vcloud-director/bin/cell-management-tool trust-infra-certs --vsphere --unattended

service vmware-vcd start

and watch:

tail -f /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/logs/cell.log

/opt/vmware/vcloud-director/etc/responses.properties

Hi,

Check my article about this process. For vCD Linux and or vCD Appliance.

Don't forget to import again the certificates to vCD and refresh connection vCenter or NSX-T/NSX-V.
