vCloud Director Syslog Server for Tenant

Hi All,

We have a vcloud director provider environment version 10.4, and one of our clients want's to know if it's possible to forward the log's of his tenant only for a syslog server. We know we can enable logging but just don't know how we can forward the log's.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

If they need direct log transfer, you will have to dedicate the Edge node to a specific tenant. If it's a multi-tenant setup you can follow

we aren't on 10.4 but we have a few customers with their own syslog server.  In our case the vcd gui was messed up so we had to go into the nsx settings (not through vcd) and set up a 2nd syslog server on the edge then open the fw on 514 to the syslog server and it was good after that
