Hi Folks,
I looked for this information on documentation and online forum but I didn't found it. Is it possible to run vCloud Service Director and Oracle DB on VMware Virtual Machines ? And if it is possible, VMware will support it ?
Be sure that I will reserve all resources to these VM's.
Thanks !

Running vCloud Director in one or more VMs is definitely supported.

If you are asking "will it work", the answer is 'yes!' given that your VMs are succifiantly resourced (RAM, CPU). We commonly run our vCloud servers and Oracle DBs on VMs managed in ESX and VC.
With regards to support, if you have any trouble with your VMs, you can post to this forum or request support.
You may want to check out the VMware® vCloud™ Director Evaluator’s Guide.
For fun testing and even "set up install" in a lab check out these really handy guides by some well known bloggers.

Hi bveis,
the thing is, I'm going to use vCloud in production so I need to take care about how VMware will hanlde vCloud installed on Virtual Machines. I checked at Installation Guide but nothing about it is mentioned, so I'm a little bit worried ...
Thanks !
