Hey Guy's
This isn't a technical question and apologies if this is the wrong forum!
I would just like to ask how you are implementing backups of vApps within vCloud. This is something I'm working on within my organization and just looking for ideas.
Many Thanks in advance!
Mr G
You can backup using normal methods. Restore is to restore to vCenter and then import back to vCloud Director. If you are restoring only the VMDKs, you might be able to power off existing VMs and restore the VMDKs as a direct replacement.
I recently presented at a vMUG conference and saw two compaines there had vCloud Aware backup Solutions.
Zerto Zerto: Data Replication and Disaster Recovery for Virtual IT and Cloud
Veeam: Veeam Backup & Replication Cloud Edition for VMware and Hyper-V
Veeam: Veeam Backup & Replication Cloud Edition for VMware and Hyper-V
As far as I know, full vCloud support will be included in the upcoming version of Veeam. So, we’re also looking forward into it.The general information regarding it can be found in the corresponding site:

And there are live webinars about new features, as well:

Cheers.
Cheers guys,
Appreciate you taking the time to respond.
