vCD implementation question.

Hi all,

Just a quick question about vCD implementation.

Is it possible to install vCD on an existing vSphere environment already running VM’s? Or do you need to build a new, fresh environment and then move the VM’s?

Hi, it is possible to do it, and then you can move the VMs to a production or other cloud generated by vCD (as far as I know, this must be done with Powered off VMs)

You may have some troubles defining networks in vCD because of VLANs duplications, for example, if you want to create a vCDNI network pool in a VLAN that is already in use in your vDS, it wont let you, but you can always use Portgroup Backed network pools.
