Hi everyone,
is it possible to use virtual volumes with vCloud Director 8.10? because I don't see any virtual volumes.
Thank you
Martin
Thank you for your answer. Do you know if there is support in the next Version?
Greetings,
Martin
I'm sorry Martin. I'm unsure about that .
Martin,
There is no such announcements from Vmware yet regarding VVol interoperability with vCD.
I will check this with dev team and if I find any answer I will post here.
Alex,
thank you. I'm looking forward to your answer.
Martin
I got following reply from one of the senior consultant:
It might work but it has never been tested with VCD 8.10.
But I am still awaiting a reply from Dev team
martin,
Got a final word on this from product team. vVols are not supported by vCloud Director.
Is there any documentation or KB articles that list what features are and are not supported with vCloud Director? The closest I have found so far is KB article 2108913 which describes vCD5.5 compatibility with vSphere 6 and NSX 6 but no similar coverage for vCD 8.10. There doesn't seem to be any mention in the documentation centre.
thanks
Dave
