vApp not showing up under My Cloud tab

Hi,

System tab shows that one Org has 4 vApp, however only one shows up under My Cloud tab of that Org. What could be the cause and how to fix?

In vCenter, one vApp which doesn't show up has no VM under the folder, not sure this is related.

Thanks,

William

Hi Will,

I had a similar problem with the beta version of VCD and I found out that the for some unknown reason vApp or VMs were under 'Expired Items' . Hope this helps.

From the release notes:

"Running VMs" count may include powered off virtual machines

The "Running VMs" column in the organizations list (Manage & Monitor > Organizations) displays the total number of virtual machines in started vApps. This may include virtual machines that are not running (for example, powered off virtual machines) and virtual machines that provide network services (vShield Edge VMs).

A few other UI screens may exhibit similar behavior.

I was refering to "vApps" column, not "Running VMs".

You are right Madhuri. I was thinking the same, but didn't know where to look at Smiley Wink
