media upload fails - browse does not work

Hi there,

i tested with several different OS with no luck Smiley Sad

When i upload a new ISO i click on Upload -> Java security popup -> i click ok -> now i click browse - nothing pops up....

I tested with Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2008R2 - Java is up2date.

All popup blockers are disabled.

Tested with IE8,9,10 and Firefox 26.

Please give me a hint.

Thank you

Alex

Alex,

Ran into the same issue with IE 9, Java 7 Update 51 on a Windows 7 workstation.  The first thing I would check is that your Java Applets enabled, in IE, go to Internet Options, Programs, Manage Add-Ons, scroll down until you see "Java(tm) Plug-In SSV Helper" and "Java(tm) Plug-In 2 SSV Helper") and make sure they are enabled.  If you don't see the applets you should re-install the 32 Bit Java JRE Client (x86) and make sure the applets are enabled.

Good Luck, let me know how it goes....

Hi,

Java 7 with update 51 is the problem.

I installed an older version - so now it works.

Thank you Java Guys for a long night yesterday Smiley Sad
