iaas > pass = strange catalog behaviour

i have a pretty clean vcd setup.

2 x iaas boxes which are basically clean win2k3 os with single partition.

these are checked in as gold masters.

i build a vApp which contains 6 of the IAAS templates in an integrated PAAS confgiuration with various disk / nic configurations.

When I add the vApp of 6 boxes to the catalog (as PAAS scenario) I can no longer see the IAAS templates when adding a new vApps.

I can only see the templates that were added from the new vApp containing 6 boxes.

If  I delete the PAAS vApp all the IAAS templates are again available. Is this standard behaviour or a bug?

Does this mean PAAS configurations should be stored in different catalogs to IAAS configurations? Seems weird.

this may seem like a very odd request ... are you logged in as an LDAP Account that is a member of many Org vDCs?

If so, can you create a non-LDAP Account and test the same scenario, and see if it happens with that?

never mind as it turns out it was operator error.

The window has a scrollbar which gave me the false impression it could hold more records than 5. As it turns out the page wraps after 5 records and you need to next page as opposed to scroll down more.

Kind of strange behaviour for a gridview that scrolls. but hey...
