Does anyone use cloud-init for guest customization in vcd? I came across it today and I've been having a hard time understanding what it is used for in vcloud or vsphere. Some of my basic questions:
- What extra functionality does it bring during the guest setup?
- From my limited understanding, you configure a template to install cloud-init and then mount an .iso to it. Is that accurate, you don't need any other software/setup?
- What is the interaction with VMtools?
