What permission is needed for renew leasetime?

hi Community

I tried to renew leasetime of a vApp in vCloud Director 5.1, I am not the owner but the vApp is shared to me with Full Control. When I try to renew error "This operation is denied".

what permission do I need to add to the role, to be able to act somehow as a lease substitute, if for example owner is on vacation or ill?

Regards

Michael

Hi ramkrishna1

Nice blog, but I know already how to handle leasetime.

My problem is that I don´t know what permissions in a role is needed to allow also people to which a vApp is shared extend the leasetime, not only the owner. Fact is that in my company we need to have one or more substitude(s)  if the owner for example gets ill or is on vacation. I could not find this in your block post, right ?

Hi community

At the end it looks like a bug now. Someone know where I can address such things?

When I use "renew lease" in dashboard view I get message "this operation is denied", but If I go to properties of the vApp and select "reset lease" I am able to extend lease. I am using same role both actions.  See attached screenshots.
