VMRC Connection issues. Not SSL related

Hi All

We are having real issues here trying to get the VMRC element to work within the environment.

If you run the session within IE as an administrator it works with no issues.

If you run the session as a user the console pops up but is blank and instantly disconnects.

The issue appears to be around proxy address assignments via IE.

These are forced to a user but not an Admin via the proxyoverride setting on Windows7

Has anyone ever heard of this or seen this issue before?

I'm sure were not the only company to have clamped down user environments Smiley Happy

We have a solution.

Anyone else with this issue this is for you Smiley Happy

You need to explicitly state in your ProxyOverride settings in your GPO the Full path URL to the Portal and the VMRC.

You cannot use a Wildcard as it is not accepted.

Force the GPO and away you go.

Thanks

Thought I'd better mention that the portal and VMRC URLs have been added to the Intranet Zones but it has made no difference.
