VCD 10.4.1 appears to hang at Upgrading Postgres database and/or Repmgr and converting certs

Tried upgrading from 10.3.3 to 10.4.1 and from 10.4.0 and get same results every time. Looking at update log that is the last entry. Looking in db upgrade log I dont see an actual fail. I did upgrade environment from 10.3.3 to 10.4.0 w/ no issues so it appears to be just with 10.4.1. I have also let it run for over an hour and it doesnt fail just continues to hang. Anyone else seen this behavior or any ideas to try?

Worked with VMware support on this and turns out the issue was with appliance-sync. KB should be coming soonish.

But the issue happens when you upgrade the Cloud Director or the DB? Because they are two different processes.

Director. Appears appliance sync not completing successfully is the root cause.On my example the appliance sync log was full of executing appliance sync scripts and nothing else. Essentially have to got to application nodes on the transfer share. Then rename the transfer nodes and the application sync process will repopulate them. Once that is working correctly install went right through. Should be a KB coming out on it. .
