Shared datastores not available for PvDC

I am rebuilding my vDC and attaching to a new set of ESX hosts.  The hosts have datastore presented to all and can be seen/used by all teh hosts.  However, after I add the vCenter server to vCD... and then attempt to create the PvDC, it only shows me the local storage, not the shared storage.

Any ideas?  I have looked and looked, but have yet to find the reason why.

Do you have any other PVDC's created already that you can Open and get Properties on ?  I have seen an issue with Oracle 10g with PVDC storage enumeration and it is related to an Oracle BUG.

I ran into this bug with Oracle 10g Express and VCD.  Fairly well
documented and not fixed until 11g. Anytime VCD tries to gather underlying
information (click on or add) from a PVDC it throws an error and fails to
complete whatever the task is.  This renders the installation fairly
useless because it constantly needs to gather information about the
PVDC's.  Info below.  There is a workaround that worked for me that does
NOT involve upgrading to 11g Express.

Please note: The above is a summary description only. Actual   symptoms
can vary. Matching to any symptoms here does not confirm that you   are
encountering this problem. Always consult with Oracle Support for
advice.
