Role right Administrator View does not work as expected

Has anyone else noticed that if you grant the role "General>Administrator View" that the user assigned to that role does not get any administrator view.  If you grant the role "General>Administrator Control" you will then be able to view the administrator tab but it acts as if it is view only.  Would love to hear if someone else is noticing the same. vCloud 5.1.2

These are predefined roles that come along with System Administrator or Organization Administrator. If you want someone to have Administrator View then just that wont let him view the administrator Tab you also have to give other roles like view organization and stuff so he will be able to get to Administrator Tab. Its like not giving a permission at higher object level and trying to assign permission for a sub object.

If I assign administrator view and a sub role like an organization role it doesn't work I have to assign administrator control. Seems that administrator view does not work as expected.

I tried the same, assigned "Administrator view" and sub roles Organization - "View Organizations" and - "Edit Leases Policy". Administrator Tab is not shown.

For me, the "Administrator View" role is really useless. The only thing it does is that now the user sees all vApps (but no rights to them).

But there is a workaround:

If you assign the role "Administrator Control" (without any permission for section User, Organization, Organization VDC and Organization VDC network), the Administrator Tab is shown but it is empty. In this way you can specify the items he is able to view in the Administrator Tab.

Disadvantage is, that the user has now control to all vApps (Power On, Power Off, etc). Don't know if you want to avoid this.
