Where do I find this button, cause right clicking the machine does not show the option

Stop / Power Off would appear both on the VM and on the vApp if you right click.

The VM(s) would get re-customized the moment the vApp is re-powered on and the "Guest Customization" flag is set on the VM property.

I found the "problem". You really have to go via the vApp tab to get the menu and not directly via the virtual machine menu
