Hi,
i’m having a problem with VMs created by vCloud Director 5.1. We are trying to join a domain from either a script that we run in the VM as a postcustomization job or manully using the Windows UI. Both ways fails with the error ”Network path was not found”
If i connect a VM (created without vCloud Director)to the same vNetwork Distributed Port group that VM can join the domain using the script we are using in the vApp VM or by doing it manully using the Windows UI.
The vApp VM is directly connected to an Orgnetwork which is directly connected to an External network.
The External network is configured with the correct parameters for:
- Gateway
- Netmask
- Primary DNS
- Secondary DNS
- Static IP Pool only got 1 Ip address since the VM in the vApp uses DHCP
The VM can ping the default gateway, find the DC in the domain, perform nslookup so that part of the communication looks good.
