How to sysprep Windows 2003 / 2008

Hi,

Can someone refer to any article or instructions how to sysprep windows 2003/2008 or Windows 7 in VCD?

Having lot of difficulties to sysprep and deploy windows VM, linux works fine.

Thanks

For WinXP, Win2000 and Win2003, use these directions below to put the appropriate Sysprep files on the vCD server itself -- note this is different than the usual way of sysprepping in a VMware environment so VMware must have decided this was a better way for vCD:

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102631...

For Win2008 and Win7, those operating systems have the Sysprep capability built-in so you don't need to locate any Sysprep files for those O/Ses.

Joining domain fails in windows 2003/2008  and windows 7. Even I set domain setting in Oraganzation, but still after sysprep and hostname is changed but joining domain failis.

In case of windows 7 & 2008 VM can't join domain, and customization.log show this message.

"Marker file does not exist"

"KEY CUSTOMIZATIONINFO was not found in config map"

Thanks
