How can you reset the system administrator user name and password that you created during the system setup

Hello

first post, so lets see how this goes!

I have been playing around with the cloud solution stack in my lab and all has gone to plan apart from the last stage, i am now trying to log into my VCD but for some reason the username and account that i setup during the install do not work, i can see from the log that the details are not being authenticated correctly.

so how can i reset the system admin account that i created during the setup script?

many thanks!

er im not sure

i have never had the chance to login to VCD as of yet!

according to vmware it is the one created at this step

Procedure

1 Open a Web browser and navigate to

https://hostname.domain.tld/cloud.

For

hostname.domain.tld, provide the fully qualified domain name associated with the primary IP address

of the Cloud Director server host. For example,

https://cloud.example.com/cloud.

2 Type the system administrator user name and password and click

Cloud Director displays a list of the next tasks you should perform.

There isn't a way to reset it. You were right to reload the schema.
