Hi all,
We are running VCD 8.10 and vCenter 6, and after checking the interoperability matrix / vCloud connector documentation, both solutions are not compatible with vCloud Connector 2.7. Is there any problem if we use it? Is there any alternative tool for VCD 8.10? What about CMP?
Thanks in advance!
Alicia
Hi all!
Response from VMware regarding vCD 810 & vCC 2.7:
vCloud Connector has been deprecated and version 2.7 was the last. It is not compatible with vCD 8.10.
VCC was replaced with a product called vCloud Availability

You are right,if we go as per the product matrix VCC is not listed. This can be right or wrong ,i will always log a ticket with VMware to confirm that . On a lighter note, what is your use case ? CMP is totally different from VCC.
VCD 8.X is compatible with vCC 2.7.
We are using this for more than a year now in production and we dont see any issues in general.
Agreed with alexhunt86 .
We are keep doing the implemenation of vcd 8.X with vcc 2.7 and that's running without any issue.
